Safety & Security Measures

‘Life Comes First’ is our mantra while formulating the safety measures of the school.

• Security Service – Round-the-clock trained security staff ensures that the school and its premises are safe at all times. Our dedicated staff members are always on their toes when it comes to ensuring safety of students. They man the roads during arrival and dispersals, conduct daily bus checks, man the floors, maintain discipline in the school, check the entry & exit of every external person entering the school.
• Fire Marshal – The school has a dedicated Fire Marshal to ensure that the fire systems are working and are checked on a daily basis.
• Traffic Warden – Apart from the security staff we have also recruited a Traffic Warden to help ease the traffic issues right on to the Saki Vihar Road so that buses and cars coming to and exiting from the school even during the peak traffic times have a safe entry and exit.
• Housekeeping Staff – The didis and dadas are always on their toes when it comes to ensuring that the school is spotlessly clean at all times. The class didis are the guardian angles of the little ones in the Elementary Sections. Even in pouring rains our didis are waiting on the footpath outside the school with a ready smile to welcome the students as they come to school every morning.
• Fire Detection & Fire Fighting System with AMC – The school has a robust fire detection and firefighting system which is under AMC. Regular service visits are scheduled and records are maintained of the same.
• Blowers for Smoke Extraction – As an additional safety measure, the school building has huge blowers to push the smoke out of the school building in case of any fire. This is a safety feature that is rarely seen in any school building.
• CCTV Surveillance – The school has round the clock CCTV surveillance with more than 400 cameras catching and recording every movement within the premises and the school grounds and peripheral areas. The CCTVs are checked every day and a log is maintained of the same to enable us to identify and rectify any malfunctioning issues at the earliest.
• Access Control – Critical areas of the school have access control to prevent access to any miscreant who might want to cause harm to our students & staff.
• Visitor Management – Visitors may enter the school premises only after an entry is made in the Visitor Management System. Their details including photographs are maintained for future reference.
• Safety on School Bus – The school buses are equipped with every safety feature that is mandated for the School bus service, right from CCTV, seat belt, speed governors, fire extinguishers, first aid box, fire exits, lady attendants, etc. Further details are available under the transport tab.
• Water & Food Safety – Water is purified before being deposited in the water coolers. We have provided for supply of cold and regular drinking water. Even after this, the water is tested every quarter from external agencies for double surety.
• Pest Control Services – Regular pest control is a part of the school maintenance. As the school is surrounded by greenery on all sides, we ensure that we take extra precautions to limit the entry of pests within the school. Regular fogging, bio traps, repellent dispensers etc are all used to help us keep the students safe.
• DG (Diesel Generator) Set for uninterrupted power supply – Though we have almost uninterrupted power supply throughout the year, the school has provided for a DG set to safeguard against any power outages.
• Evacuation Rules, Routes & Drill – The Evacuation rules & routes are available in every classroom & the huge sports arena provides for a safe assembly area for our evacuation drills.
