The school has tied up with Shree Ganesh Travels to provide the transport services for the students. While it is not mandatory for the students to use school bus to commute to school, we do promote school bus as a more efficient, environment friendly & safe mode of travelling to school. The vendor has been in the transport business for past 20 years and has a fleet of 400+ buses of various sizes that are running across Mumbai & suburban areas.
Though the school is just a facilitator between the parents & the service provider, the School is committed to ensuring that the Transporter adheres to all the rules and regulations that are applicable for School Bus.
Safety Features available on all the Buses:
Regulation School Buses
CCTV camera
First Aid
Fire Extinguisher
Seat belts
GPS system
Speed regulator
Live tracking
Alerts on student reaching school during arrival & on reaching the bus stop during dispersal.
Experienced drivers with minimum experience of
Lady Attendants on all buses, 1 on small buses & 2 on bigger buses.
Points to Note:
The bus will operate on a nodal point basis and we can provide door to door pick-up & drop facility.
It will be our endeavour to see that the first child picked is the first to be dropped, however, this is not always possible as all routes are not ring routes. On straight routes the farthest students will end being the first to be picked & the last to be dropped, which is unavoidable.
Bus facility needs to be availed for the entire year & payment has to be made in advance on a quarterly basis.
The parent / caretaker has to be at the bus stop 5 minutes before the scheduled pickup & drop time
If the student is not at the stop on time during pick-up, the bus will not wait for the student as waiting adds to the travel tie of students already on board the bus.
Similarly, if the parent / caretaker is not available at the bus stop at the scheduled drop time, the bus will not wait as it will lead to longer wait time for parents at the next stops & longer travel time for students in the bus. In such case, the child will be brought back to the school.
Parent / caretaker may have to cross the road to get to the bus stop either during pickup or during drop.
Live tracking will be available, however please note that there might be a lag in the tracking so please leave from your house a little early to ensure that you reach on time.
Some Rules to be Followed:
Changes in pick-up point or drop point is not possible unless during medical emergency.
If parents of bus users want to pick up their ward personally, they should come to the school, but wait near the bus and pick up the child after informing the Bus didi.
It is mandatory for the parent / caretaker to show the parent pass while picking up the child.
Students from Nursery to Grade 5need to be collected from the bus stop by a parent / caretaker on producing the bus pass. Students will not be let off on unescorted on their own.
